“Alhaji collected pocket money”, singer of Fuji Pasuma receives blows after a courtesy visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu

Nigerian musician Fuji Pasuma has been attacked on social media after his courtesy call on Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In 2020, Nigerian youth expressed their dissatisfaction with the poor governance of the current All Progressive Congress administration, which led to an #EndSars movement.

During the EndSars protest, many Nigerian youths and celebrities took to the streets to express their anger at the country’s challenges and vow to disassociate themselves from former politicians.

However, with the 2023 general election still months away, some prominent figures seem to be turning their backs as they openly endorse Tinubu and visit some of these vital politicians.

Taking to his Instagram page, Pasuma shared a video of his visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the state house.

He captioned the video: Courtesy visit to Statehouse Marina with 001 of Excellency Lagos State @jidesanwoolu ITESIWAJU EKO AJUMOSE GBOGBO WA NI!!!

Reacting to the post, some social media users expressed their displeasure with the visit, saying everyone was fighting for their pockets while forgetting about the EndSar protest.
