Former Amazon Games Director Larry Plotnick Named President of Big Fish | Pocket Gamer.biz

Free-to-play game developer Big Fish Games has announced the appointment of a new company president, Larry Plotnick, to bring “renewed focus” to casual games.

Plotnick has over 30 years of development and publishing experience, including roles such as General Manager of Games for Amazon Prime. At Big Fish, he will support both innovation and development of new and existing mobile games.

There have been a number of notable industry hires in recent weeks, such as Danish multiplayer specialists Funday Factory announcing the appointment of Jeppe Kønig as head of publishing and the non-profit IGDA appointing the Dr Jakin Vela as new Executive Director.
