Pocket Aces Elevates Rayvanta Kumar to Head of Direct-to-Consumer Content Business
Pocket Aces has elevated Rayvanta Kumar to head of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) content business.
Kumar joined Pocket Aces in 2020 as Assistant Vice President of the Corporate Strategy function and has been instrumental in driving strategic sales initiatives and key business growth projects.
Kumar will lead the global P&L of D2C Content Business and mentor channel leadership teams to scale content innovation, distribution, strategic partnerships and monetization opportunities. Leadership at the channel level has also been bolstered – with Shreya Agarwal leading FilterCopy as Channel Manager, Sheveeta Hedge leading FilterCopy Monetization, popular influencer Andre Borges leading Nutshell as as Channel Manager, Ankit Chhabra as Head of Gobble as Channel Manager, Kuntal Bhoir as Head of Gobble & Nutshell Monetization, and Priyanka Padode as Head of Customer Service and Ad Sharing on all canals.
Prior to Pocket Aces, Ray spent a decade building D2C brands and growing companies such as Yi Technology and GoPro in India and South Asia.
Commenting on his new role, Kumar said, “It has been an incredible journey so far and I am delighted to take on this new responsibility. channels by adding innovative products and exploring new monetization opportunities.”
